2K Sports has announced that Major League Baseball 2K6 will be
released in early spring of 2006. The mult-platform title is slated for a massive list of systems including PC,
PlayStation, PlayStation2, PSP, Xbox, Xbox 360, GameCube, DS, and Game Boy Advance.
This will be the first year of Take-Two Interactive's exclusive MLB deal. With exception to first-party publishers, no
third-party company will be allowed to sell an MLB game, namely EA Sports. Due to the exclusivity, Nintendo platforms
welcome back the 2K baseball series after a 3 year hiatus.
