Ryu Ga Gotoku, Sega's mature action/adventure title, is nearing its Japanese launch (already available in Hong Kong), and to help spread awareness—aside from the aforementioned paraphernalia—Sega has installed game demos at various Ray bars, a popular franchise in Japan. Don't expect these particular marketing gimmicks to fly elsewhere.
