When you consider everything the Xbox 360 is capable of, lack of free support for streaming video just doesn't matter. The games are better than anything else currently available. The Xbox Live experience is currently one-of-a-kind. You can stream music into your games. You can browse your photo collection. There was never any promise of out of the box video streaming. It's not like you got bait-and-switched here. And for a bunch of people who are likely obsessed with frame rates, smooth motion and killer graphic rendering, I can't believe DivX/XviD is the center of the video discussion. You expect primo game video but settle for lousy encoding just because you get it free through BitTorrent? The real travesty is lack of support for h.264.

What the Xbox team really wants you to do is spend hours of your life and dollars from your pocket playing games to the detriment of your social life and personal hygiene. At the end of the day did you buy an Xbox 360 because it is the best game console on the market or did you buy it to stream your movies and music? If it was the latter, your money was better spent on a Tivo or media hub.
