A lot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into the great debate of comparing the original Xbox or 360 to the PC platform. We've all done it: whether it was with your die-hard PC buddy or in all caps on some message board, almost everyone has an opinion to share.
GGL has sat down to fuel that flamebait by comparing the differences between the modern PC with an AMD FX-55 CPU and dual NVIDIA 6800 Ultra video cards to Microsoft's next-gen heavyweight. While the results were captured using a Canon SLR, they're still enough to give you a good picture of how the two contrast. Call of Duty 2 and King Kong were the pair of specimen tested on each platform.
And the verdict? The 360 can hold its own against the PC, and while the latter is always on the rise, so too are optimizations in development for the console titles.
