The Doom movie, for all intents and purposes,
bombed. That is not stopping id Software, however, from
bringing Wolfenstein to the silver screen.
Speaking to TwitchGuru, id's CEO Todd Hollenshead has stated that they will "try to get Wolfenstein made into
a movie." Hollenshead is taking this move very seriously, even going so far so look for a Hollywood script writer to
aid "with the story and dialogue on the [next-generation Wolfenstein title]," potentially making the jump from
game to film a lot smoother. Let's hope they learned a few lessons from their previous efforts.

"For all intents and purposes", maybe?
My opinion: enough with the video-game gone movie. And please don't let the industry pull another Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game.

Another example of the oral transformation of language by people who don’t read much. “For all intents and purposes” is an old clich?hich won’t thrill anyone, but using the mistaken alternative is likely to elicit guffaws.

Yet another video game to movie jump. Perfect for Hollywood, no need for any real creativity to come up with an original idea and a pre-installed fan base to pony up for tickets. Hoping that maybe they'll get lucky and hit a homerun (spiderman) and appeal to people outside of the video game genre (or comic book in spideys case). Pure lazyness, and they wonder why the box office is slumping?

It would be basically Hellboy, minus the Hellboy...

#10, yeah that's what I was thinking. In fact, when I saw Hellboy, it reminded me of the Wolfenstien games.

Actually, I'd still see this one. I've been a fan of id's games since Commander Keen and Wolfenstien's story is much more suitable for an on-screen adaptation than Doom's (what story?) was.

If doom the movie was good then i would have to say yes but the answer remains NO! You cannot make this movie because it will offend gamers and movie guru's as it will suck monkey balls (not relating to super monkey ball).
Hollywood = Shitz. Videogame industry = not so shitz. Put 2 and 2 together and create rossie o donald movies.
