Wow, Vivendi Universal has the ability to be compassionate after all. Must say I was surprised that the campaign worked, but congratulations to Pheonix and thanks to VUG for letting the thing happen.

Why isn't the creator Roberta Williams making it?

This is good news. Sorry to go on a tangent but I'm reminiscing now :)

My favorite in the series was KQ III: To Heir Is Human... although I do remember you had to save often because it was very easy to die!

Can anything hold a candle to the original Hero's Quest 1 though? That just might have been my favorite all-time game :)

Hero's Quest/Quest for Glory series were the best of the 'Sierra' series of games in my opinion. I still own 1 to 5 :)

Hero's Quest was great, but the first few Space Quest were good too.

I also enjoyed Police Quest.

What about the Gabriel Knight series?? The first two were awesome. Among my favorite games of all time. And, personally, Kings Quest VI was my favorite of the KQ series.

This is pretty cool news!! I wish I had been more into those kings quest, I played the heros quest and the space quests... I also played Robin Hood Conquest of the longbow, something bout that one captivated me.

Man those sierra classics were great.

artofstu: I totally agree with every words you said. All these games had Jane Jensen in common.

I also miss the Police Quest games. The first two were great.

Re: "Why isn't the creator Roberta Williams making it?"

While, as far as I know, they aren't directly involved in the production of the game, both Roberta and Ken Williams have shown support for the project.
