Thank goodness this guy isn't in control of paintjobs. Looks like they let a 13-year old go ape with a box of stickers.

Not to rip on Allard, I think he's done a great job with the 360, but this just screams "I want to be cool...love me."

You know for so many people worried about over heating the 360, he has like half of the little ventilation ports covered up.

That Xbox looks so gay. Is he? he's trying to hard to look cool, but actually makes him very much "idiot who uses eery stickers that he sees" next we'll see him with a pierced eyebrow. Why do all the Xbox people are such nerds? even that Dead Or alive dude that wears leather jackets and black raybans inside his office tryes too much. Can someone point them toward Steve Jobs so they can see being a nerd isn't that embarrasing.

give me a break. J tries WAY too hard. Imagine the old J Allard (the one from the geeky picture) putting stickers like that on his Xbox. It just wouldn't happen.

I'm sure M$ got a focus group together and put a design team on what Allard's Xbox should look like.

So bogus.

Josh said Wasn't there a news story about his kids not having a 360 yet so he knwos how we "little people" feel?

I thought that was the ceo Steve Ballmer's kids.

Do you think he paid for it or just took it. If he didn't buy it then he's breaking the law because of new accounting laws that prohibite company execs from using company resources for their benifit or accepting gifts, its part of sarbanes-oxly. He should give it to me or i'll turn him in.

I think it looks tacky. Maybe he got all the stickers from one of the vending machines at some dollar store.

I seriously think he wants to be considered cool. Have you seen pics of him before the earing and completely bald head.

Has anyone else tried to decorate or mod their 360?

#'s 1 and 15 have it right. Allard's 360 was a generic old 360 ... then XBOX marketing found out those hip young engadget kids would be stopping by, so they hurriedly put together a montage of everything that could possibly be considered cool in today's day and age, which is to say, a bunch of asinine crap.

looked at from this perspective, that picture of his 360 plays out as PAINFULLY pathetic.

then again, doraemon in devo hat. can you see that i am serious?

What's up with him having a ton of skateboard company stickers? I mean, customizing your Xbox with whatever you want is cool and I know he's a biker, but does he even skate? And if you're going to cover your system with tons of skate stickers, at least throw an Enjoi one on there.

As a kid I collected stickers but I determined that I liked them too much to actually stick them on things, so I kept them all in a box. I think I threw that box out a few years ago. Let that be a lesson to the Engadget Kidz Klub. Back then, and now, I can't stand seeing stickers overlap like that.

Hello Kitty! That definitely jumps out first. That's what the corporate executives play with these days. Interesting demographic.

Now all MS needs to do is make it small, light weight, low power, low noise, and slightly innovative like Nintendo's next console... I might buy one.

It's clearly a decoy. The bright eye candy distracted the gadget-obsessed break-in team. His real x360 is safe and sound underneath his stash of unopened Oakley Thump2's. (which isn't safe since that puppy could explode at any moment!)

Wow, some MS VP has tacky stickers on his 360. That must mean that:

a) MS (sorry, M$) Suck!
b) J Allard wishes he were as cool as me, posting about him on Engadget
c) He's a lam0r!
d) 360 sucks!

Serious guys, you are acting like complete tools. Whilst you are all bitching about a guy at MS having stupid stickers on his 360, some of us are playing some next gen games with our buddies.
