And no, it's not Dynasty Warriors. Really. The game is called Garaku Tale and judging by the very limited information and screenshots available at present, it's an old-school adventure game in the vein of The Secret of Monkey Island or, looking at the DS specifically, Trace Memory. This isn't the usual historical Koei stuff, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. It does seem, however, that you get to fight a blue bear at one point. I'm not sure why, but that pleases me.It seems that plenty of developers are using the DS and its touch screen as a platform for genres that have traditionally only worked on the PC. It's great to see the first-person shooter (Metroid Prime Hunters) and the management sim (Zoo Tycoon) make similarly successful leaps into the portable world. Real-time strategy games (with Wi-Fi support) can't be too far behind, right?
