Ever sit back and think about the good old Nintendo days? The ones where you were constantly blowing into giant chunks of plastic, clutching your hands in pain after a 6-hour NES session and having spinal surgery to correct those experiences you had with the Virtual Boy? Well, I guess maybe those days weren't all that good. The guys at Twitch Guru are keen to point this out in a retrospective article that looks at Nintendo's greatest milestones and their biggest blunders, right from the NES and the 64DD all the way to the DS and the Revolution. It's an interesting read, though it's mainly oriented on Nintendo's commercial failures as opposed to any gameplay deficits or any of their landmark titles. Sure, the N64 may not have set the world on fire, but surely those that owned one got plenty of good gaming hours out of it (provided they weren't playing Superman 64)? Or perhaps I'm just taking offense to having my designer rose-colored glasses stomped upon with such malice. Let me know what you think!
