IGN takes a look at the first TV-series on UMD boxset and walks away with a pretty pleasant taste in their mouth. Interestingly, this version manages to avoid the common issues that plague UMDs, such as weak audio and a lack of extras, and actually provides a decent alternative to the regular DVD boxset. We're inclined to agree with the writer on the $30 set being a worthwhile purchase, although we're basing our reasoning more on the amount of content on the discs instead of the set's decent price tag, considering how overpriced UMDs are to begin with. The only complaint about the boxset seems to be about the shoddy packaging, which really doesn't count all that much in our eyes so long as we can get the full 28-episode experience of Peter Griffin's astounding stupidity to go.
