EA has confirmed that the latest incarnation of its popular boxing franchise, Fight Night Round 3, will see release on the Xbox 360 & Sony PSP. Each of these two versions will feature a distinct cover athlete, to be revealed at CES—Arturo Gotti & Micky Ward will grace the cover for the Xbox & PS2 versions. Curiously, no information about the heralded PlayStation 3 version was released.
EA has also posted a video teaser, which features Roy Jones Jr. getting knocked silly by Bernard Hopkins. Needless to say, ass whoopin' has never looked this good. Let's just hope the next-gen versions fare better than EA's previous multi-generational releases.
