Tidbits of information about the upcoming Halo character in Dead or Alive 4 have been leaking
slowly from Bungie. First it was the fact that there was a
female Spartan, then it was her name—Nicole—and now Bungie have revealed a whole back-story for the character, aka
Spartan-458.
A 6'8" Martian lady, she enjoys anime, competition shooting and pina coladas—scratch that last one, but she is a fan
of the halo-halo Filipino dessert, apparently, and one of her special moves is sticking the opponent with a plasma
grenade. However, it seems that no backstory can quite live up to the reality of DoA4—as Bungie put it,
"How does this explain why she's fighting a schoolgirl in a prehistoric oasis? Silence fool!"
