It's time for the evil to leave the residence and take a trip to a sunny park, as Capcom has updated their website with a new video of Resident Evil: Deadly Silence (see what they did there?), the DS remake of the survival-horror game that everybody thinks started it all. The video reveals quite a few surprises coming in the form of some new touch screen mini-games, first-person slashing and bringing fallen comrades back from the brink (further cementing the DS as a CPR simulator). The graphics are also surprisingly good, though that may just be as a result of all that blood spraying in every conceivable direction. To see it for yourself, follow the link, click on "Enter", then "Movie" and then on the flashing Japanese text to the left.It also looks like you can choose to play through the game with multiple characters - a lot more than the original game allowed. Personally, we prefer to stick with the master of unlocking herself, Jill Valentine. And yes, the original voice acting makes a welcome return too.
