Several of our readers have already asked us when we're going to come out with a PSP-formatted version of PSP Fanboy, and we'd like for everyone to know that we're working on making that happen. We're really glad to know that you're already considering taking us on the road with you, and we'll make sure to keep you all posted on when that becomes a reality for us and for you.Until then, if you already have your own site and you'd like to see it get the portable treatment, we've come across an impressive guide to getting your blog, fansite, or online shrine to dressed-up cats ready for PSP viewing. Unlike our previous post on the issue, there's a whole lot of detail in this guide on what will work for the PSP's browser and what won't, as well as code for getting your webhost to change formatting depending on whether it's being viewed on a PSP or not.
One pet peeve I've always had with websites is the use of frames, a feature which, in my opinion, should have been outlawed with the <blink> tag back in the early Nineties. While the PSP does support the <iframe> tag, it doesn't render the scroll bars properly, so for the sake of all that's tasteful and compliant, please don't use frames in your website, I beg of you.
