Though the games
have been few and far between lately, Sony’s PSP may be on track to sell 6 million units in North America by
year’s end. From the article: “Sony Computer Entertainment America President and Chief Executive Kaz Hirai
told Reuters in October the company’s goal is to double its install base by selling between 2.5 million and 3
million additional PSPs in North America by year end.”In October, the PSP had already sold an estimated 2.5 million units so far in North America. 3.5 during the holiday season may be a tall order, but we should know in a few more months whether Kutaragi & Co. hit the mark.
