Here's another
heartwarming story of armed robbery to make you appreciate your new Xbox 360. And this one comes from Alaska no less.
Five eager gamers from Anchorage waited in line for nine hours to be the first into their local Best Buy this past
Sunday. After the doors opened, each one managed to score a console. However, two of the boys promptly turned around
afterwards and tried to sell theirs to less fortunate customers for the ripe price of $600. No one was interested
(surprised?).So the motley crew, ages 14 to 24, piled into a van and headed to McDonald's to grab some grub. When they got there, they left the 14-year-old on guard duty as the rest went inside to enjoy the warmth. As luck would have it, a couple of men who witnessed their attempt to make some extra cash back at the store followed them and stole four of the consoles as they were inside.
The last 360 was hidden under the seat by the kid who got shafted by his friends. And the moral of the story? As our tipster put it, next time use the drive-through.
