You lucky, lucky people. Having
watched Japanese consumers walk off with FFXI beta discs at launch, and having looked on with
envy as we Brits found out we would get the beta in
January (provided we buy Xbox 360: The Official Xbox Magazine), it must have been tough to not know when, or even
if, you would get to try it.Fortunately, the score will be equalised soon, as American customers of the Official Xbox Magazine will get to try the beta if they buy February's issue. It's an odd choice of distribution, but OXM is undoubtedly rubbing its hands with glee. Whether the game is worth it or not, we shall have to wait and see--early reports aren't looking good.
