Frustrated with the lackluster friend support in Nintendo’s otherwise superlative Wi-Fi service? Well, you’re not alone. DS-Play.com “would like to make it easier… to find Friend codes and Friends to talk to, race against, or trade items with.” They support the current 800 lb. NiWiFi gorilla Mario Kart DS, as well as Animal Crossing Wild World DS, and Tony Hawk’s American Sk8land.
This is precisely the kind of thing Nintendo should be promoting in their forums and through their service. When you hear nothing but praise for Microsoft’s Xbox Live service, it makes you wonder why Nintendo wouldn’t try to emulate that experience?
