Game accessory
company Mad Catz has signed an agreement with Microsoft to become an official software (games) publisher for the Xbox
console. The move is said to allow the peripheral manufacturer to create unique games using their controllers. The
company CEO was quoted as saying, "It is an important element in our strategy to publish games to be used in
conjunction with our game-specific accessories and adds new revenue streams to leverage our existing
infrastructure."While this could be a first for a game accessory manufacturer, publishers are always welcome.
