PLAY! announces first concert... in Sweden

The PLAY! symphonic tour of game music is finally coming to a concert hall near you... in Sweden.According to the official web site: "The concert in Stockholm, Sweden is taking place on June 14 2006 at the prestigious Stockholm Concert Hall. The music will be performed by the famous Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and chorus, conducted by Grammy Award-winning artist Arnie Roth."
Last we heard, overseas trips for the tour were planned from the outset, but we had no idea a European country besides Britain and Germany would be the first location announced. So, can any of our friends from the Continent tell us how the RSPO ranks in the annals of European orchestras? Tickets go on sale Thursday, January 12, 2006 and will be available at the Stockholm Concert Hall box office.
