Seiken Densetsu (Secret of Mana) 4 pics and trailer

If you like your RPGs cartoony and your heroes super-deformed (in a good way, of course), you can find 17 new pics and a trailer for Seiken Densetsu 4 -- otherwise known as Secret of Mana 4 -- on the official World of Mana page from Square Enix.
Screenshots are on offer in the SD/SM4 section of the site by clicking on the button with the 4 at the end in the Flash-based main navigation on the left. The new video preview, however, can be found in the top-level World of Mana Trailer section.
Thank goodness Square finally decided to announce which platform the game's coming to, too: it'll be released sometime (at least in Japan) in 2006. Gotta love those trailers...
[Thanks, Timmeh]

Wouldn't it be Secret of Mana 3?

Squeel!
Also, Seiken Densetsu 3 only came out in Japan, but can be played on emulators (great game).

emehrkay: no you're right they have an obsession with that aesthetic (very boring in that regard if you ask me).

Secret of Mana 3 was released for the Super Famicom in Japan under the name Seiken Densetsu. Niether two nor three saw a North American release.
I would call it Seiken Densetsu 4, Secret of Mana 2!

Erm, NO. I can't understand how people screw up the games this badly.
"Secret of Mana 3" is Seiken Densetsu 3, also known as "Secret of Mana 2" since it was the next game after Secret of Mana. That game didn't make it to the US, but every other game in the series did. "Seiken Dnesetsu 2" is known as Secret of Mana in the US. And before anyone asks, Legend of Mana was NOT Seiken Densetsu 4. That game never had a number. It was strictly called "Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana" in Japan. Fans tacked on a number because they assumed that, since it was the fourth SD game created, it was SD4.
Thanks.
