It seems that the army's popular recruitment tool will soon get a sequel. Inadvertently announced via a
CNN article, America's Army: Real Heroes will begin production in early 2006.
The game is also reported to feature actual soldiers in service, including Sgt. 1st Class Jerry Wolford, who was
interviewed for the article, alongside 8 other soldiers (7 men and 1 woman) being used as video game models. In
addition, for whatever reason, there is also word that each soldier will become an action figure to be released
alongside the sequel. All this on top of America's Army: Rise of a Soldier, the console equivalent to the PC shooter, and America's Army seems to have become quite a popular venture. Expect Real Heroes to be a free download for all the die-hard first-person shooter fans out there - now, when are we going to see a fun recruitment tool for Mac gamers?
