Now that
the TWU strike is over, New Yorkers can get back to what they love about their commutes: gaming. This morning, as I
rode the L Train into Manhattan, an entire 6-person bench was devoted to such. On one end, a family of five (the baby
was in a stroller in the aisle) engaged in some good ole' Nintendo lovin'. The teenage son was hunched over his GBA SP,
ignoring his mother until she slapped him and had him fish out a game from his pocket. He passed it down to his father
who had just whipped out a DS. Squished in-between, the kid sister was drawing Mario, Princess Zelda, and Toad.On the other end of the bench, two teenage brothers were duking it out in a heated GTA: LCS multiplayer battle on their PSPs. Further down the car, another man had his PSP out, slowly bobbing his head to the beat it was emanating. Talk about a Kodak moment--and me with no camera!
