Temporary Live leaderboard reset

Eagle-eyed high-scorers may have noticed some jiggery-pokery going on with the Xbox Live leaderboards for various games over the last couple of days. Apparently, this is nothing to do with recent hacking successes, but it's certainly interesting to see how quickly the poor beleaguered Xbox Live team jumped on the issue, working through New Year's Day to get it sorted.

We missed our chance to top the leaderboards temporarily; did you achieve any unexpected high ranks?

This explains everything! During a late night PGR3 session this weekend, I was the top ranked Silver Kudos racer for several races on the Solor Career Mode. I was placed in League 1 (of all things), ranked 170ish right behind the lowest ranked Gold Medal racer. Check out the current leaderboard for "Eliminator World Cup - Event 4." Now I'm in League 10 down around 400's.

Why did they have to go and burst my bubble like that?! It felt good being ranked so high worldwide.

Yes, unfortunately. For the first time ever I was one star away from my third black pearl in Hexic HD when a bomb took me out. Got 77th place.

Turned on the box the next morning, and that score was gone, replaced with my older highscore (only 1 BP). Sadness followed.

lol yes was amazed that I was suddenly in the top 200 online racers at Project Gotham and I got 6th overall (on the leaderboards) for one of the career championships.

lol I've since moved way way down the on the leaderboards.....
