You may have noticed recently a forum post by an Epic staff member stating that Unreal Tournament 2007 won't be a PS3 launch title, contradicting Gamespot's report that it will be. We asked Epic for clarification, but it seems as if Gamespot have corrected their mistake before we could get a response. According to Epic Vice President Mark Rein, UT 2007 might make the PS3 launch, but not definitely. Why? Because like everyone else, Epic "isn't sure exactly when Sony plans to ship its next-generation console." He continues "We won't ship the title on any platform before it's done, and it is too early to say when that will be."
