Only in combination with a script that zooms in, fires your gun, switches weapons back and forth will this become useful. The script allows you to fire the AWP and return to it without waiting for the bolt action animation to finish, thus allowing you to fire more quickly.

Also, this ONLY applies to the AWP and Scout rifles in the game. And honestly, if you have to resort to using this method, you obviously suck at the game to the point that you can't get a decent headshot with the M4. I think the term for this is 'Lern2Play'.

Lastly, if a server admin catches you using this little trick, you will be kicked from the server and possibly banned (this mainly applies to using the script in conjunction with the crosshair "hack".)

Chiablo

Comments on Improve at Counter-Strike by ruining your monitor

or do what i've been doing since Marathon-on-the-Mac days:

use two pieces of thread taped at each end. easily removable and easily adjustable.

jay

Comments on Improve at Counter-Strike by ruining your monitor

Pah.... permanent markers are for posers.

Real gamers use the knife to etch the screen!!

LOL

Philip X

Comments on Improve at Counter-Strike by ruining your monitor

"17. This *WILL NOT* work with an AWP, but it *WILL* work with a scout, as a scout is still accurate when you're not scoping.
