Every year the major search engines release statistics regarding the most popular searches of the past year. Despite the fact that it's barely over a month old, the Xbox 360 placed prominently in both Google and Yahoo's search. The hype, stretching from the console's announcement up to the launch and subsequent shortages placed the 360 above Harry Potter and Michael Jackson in Google's top searches and #7 on Yahoo's overall top product searches.
