CES: Nintendo eyes eMagin's VR visor
eMagin has attracted Nintendo's attention with its
Z800 3D Visor, which shares some resemblance to the infamous Virtual Boy. In fact, Nintendo has already purchased a
number of the Z800 units, perhaps foreshadowing the Revolution's VR destiny. Adding further fuel to the fire, eMagin's
Bruce Ridley revealed that his company was talking to all major console makers. But cool off there fanboys, the
partnership is still a long shot.[Thanks, kekleon64]

Right, because the first place Sony wants to contact about any news is some little-known site like gameshout.com. Forget all the major gaming sites, or even issuing a proper press release. No, Sony goes with the obscure every time.
Whatever.

I got a visor that looks just likt the one pictured above in Animal Crossing on the DS. My character can wear it around town. Did the makers of Animal Crossing know something about a future Nintendo visor?

For $900, I don't think so...
Even if Nintendo managed to get a manufacturing deal with them, it is still going to cost as much or more than a revolution system just to get one of these, mush less up to 4 for 4 player mode.
But it would be freaking sweet!
