In a recent interview with BUZZSCOPE, id
mastermind John Carmack expressed his next-gen preferences. When asked what he thought about the Xbox 360 and the
Playstation 3, he thinks that both are going to have a lot in store for gamers. However the symmetric CPU architecture
and nicer development tools make the Xbox 360 more appealing to him.He also states that their next project will be breaking out on all three major platforms: the 360, PS3 and PC. From the interview: "The PS3 will have a bit more peak power, but it will be easier to exploit the available power on the 360."
