Do you play high?

Drugs are for losers and hippies,Drug dealers are killing my town and teenagers from my town.The penalty for drug pushing should be the electric chair in every state.We should not even be discussing it on an open blog.It's not funny or clever.

I used to play high but i stopped smoking so now I play sober. I have played drunk (usually driving games because I cant do it in real life drunk) but i dont drink much (reflux). And for everyones info, alcohol isn't a drug its a POISON. Also, no one really cares about other peoples opinions on weather or not people should/shouldn't be doing as they please because you know what? they should be doing as they please.

It seems alot of the people who say they don't smoke while playing videogames have never smoked at all. The media completely blows pot out of proportion. Though it isn't completely harmeless, cigarettes and alchohol are alot more addicting. I myself have never played stoned, since i smoke sociably, and alot of my friend do not play games. Pot is very relaxing and helps headaches and pain alot better then most presctiption drugs for me. Its also alot easier to hide then being drunk. In my opinion you should know the facts about weed and have actually tried it before you give these opinions about how bad it is and how sad it is to see people playing videogames high.

i hated it back at school, all my friends were into it and i was dead against it. then one night we we're out underage drinking here in the UK and the police caught us and poured all our drink away. what will we do now?



funny enough, someone had some dirty resin (i say dirty because actual weed/grass is a billion times better) and that was when i first tried it. first time id even smoked a cigarette.



after experiencing it, it changed my whole perspective over it. i actually prefer it to alchohol as i can control myself and my actions.



your appreciation levels for basically everything go up, music sounds better, you actually appreciate lighting, concentration goes up, movies, feelings, everything is magnified.



theres no hang over or come downs. and addiction like they claim - ive gone from using it every day to not using it for a month simply because i couldnt afford it and it makes no big deal, no withdrawl or anything. you feel just the same.



and sure, ive seen wasters from school where weed has been a 'gateway' drug for them, i blaim it on lack of self control



but there are one or two downsides - too much leads to tiredness, a soare head if doin it all day and i get as thirsty (no munchies weirdly) as mother...









back on topic though - i do play when high, but not all the time. i find im more relaxed and dont get pissed off as quickly e.g when some gayboy snipes me early on in PDZ





but to all the haters who havent tried it, just give it a go once, not a lot. just a few tokes and see how u feel

What a surprise, the drunks getting high and mighty because alchohol is legal...

It's always the same, they always find a way to defend the booze and IMO It's way worse than smoking.





Ever heard of someone starting a fight because they had too many spliffs?

What about the husband who came home and beat his wife cus he had too many spliffs after work?





I remember a football contest in Europe (Near Amsterdam) a while pack, and the media were amazed there was no riots with the thugs that follow the games around, you do the math.

I can't believe that so many people smoke dope. Even worse is the crap being posted about it being harmless. While the jury is still out about whether marijuana causes mental illness, there is little doubt that it can trigger existing problems.



One of my co-workers was quite open about how he liked to have a puff "socially". Nobody thought much of it until it triggered bipolar disorder and he ended up running around work in a manic panic attack thinking that everybody was out to steal his job. He spent a month in a mental hospital and hasn't been the same since.



Another case was a friend of mine, who smoked reasonably heavily (several times per week) and ended up suffering from paranoia. He is OK now, but for a while he basically locked himself in his house and refused to come out. The bigger worry is that he still smokes occasionally, which can't be helpful.



I really am worried that more comments on this article are stating that they do smoke than not.

Poster 55, What about if your friends or co-workers had hit the drink as hard? Or how bout they smoked 20 cigarettes a day?

There's this fuckin myth, that because drink is legal and people do It all the time, After work, lunch breaks, plastered at xmas, that It's ok.

No matter how you spin It, It is a drug.

No drug is safe, and It's your choice...I'd rather hang out with a bunch of smokers than drinkers.

I actually started gaming and smoking weed around the same point in my life, so both have been mutually inclusive. But we've had enough weed experiences.



How about an Exstacy one?



I remember taking pills (E's) and playing videogames quite a few times. I don't know why but I used to be able to play miles better. And it wasn't just my imagination, either.

Me and a friend used to compete on Diddy Kong Racing, and at this stage in our playing, he was setting some excellent times that I just couldn't beat. He went out one night and me and another friend took some E's and started playing. That night, I was smashing his time trial records left, right and centre. I don't know why but it just seemed so easy to play; same goes for Goldeneye.



So yeah, I play while high, although it's just weed and beer these days. No more hard drugs for me!

and to people who say marijuana causes brain damage, do some research before u go off spouting untrue facts

i play video games when im high but not no one player games cause i dont really like to play with my self i like to play fighting games with a couple of other people that are stoned i dont play online cause i always thought that was for people that dont have any friends i just like playing with some one sitting right next to me
