assuming that the virtual quarter won't be made up of microsoft points, this is the best news about the xbox live arcade yet. just incredible. reincarnating the sf 2 crowds on xbox live? that's what I call next-gen. great job on this idea capcom ! Also, I have been wishing for a way to watch my friends play instead of just rooting for them from my friends list. The bar has been set. YES!

there is no way they will charge you marketplace money for the virtual quarter- remember we have already paid our live service fee. if they do end up charging per play, the game will fail after the first months cool factor wears off.

I doubt they will charge, they are making it similar to doa online play, you wait in a room for your turn while you watch others play, similar to the old arcade experiences we used to have. In that case they would charge everytime we played doa online?

Yeah, but doa didn't make any mention of a virtual quater... Lets just assume they make the game free, and make all thier money off the virtual quater.
