Top Spin 2 ships April 7
Yesterday, we noted Take Two's fiscal blues were
due in part to having pushed back release dates on key sports titles. One of those titles, Top Spin 2, is now set to be released on April 7 for Xbox 360, GBA, and DS.For those keeping score, the original Top Spin debuted on Xbox a few years back and was considered by many to be the most authentic tennis sim around. Developer PAM is still behind the scenes, but Take Two's 2K Sports took over the franchise from Microsoft and released a Top Spin update for PS2 this past September to lukewarm reviews. Top Spin 2 contains a similar roster of players as the PS2 release, but the 360 visuals means more polygons for Maria Sharapova.

HEY JOYSTIQ: Are you guys still fiddling around with this repair thing or W.T.F.? You open the site up, yet you have no provisions below to add comments-it's blank! Or you may get 2 comments then blank below that-results only two comments left! I cannot understand why something that travels at the speed of frickin light should take so long or be so damned difficult to correct!!

Great to hear about a confirmed release date, even though it is later than what I was expecting.
By the way, I hope joystiq fixes the comments issues that its been having for a couple weeks now. I enjoy reading the comments after I read the article, but I've noticed the design of the comments section has become (imo) poor. The font size has increased and there are only 20 comments per page. It was better before when you could read all the comments without having to click "next page" every 20 comments.

Don't worry, Andre; we've upped the comment count to 50 per page, so the page-per-post navigation should be better than before. Adding comments also appears to be a lot more consistent now, so I hope you can trust us when we say that many people are hard at work making the experience here at problem-free as possible. Glad you could stop by and take the time to comment on this! We certainly appreciate it. =)
