Video Games Live to live again at GDC in March

Many of the earlier tour dates announced in 2005 were cancelled late last year, but the Video Games Live concert series has a date back on the books for 2006: Friday, March 24, to coincide with the end of the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California.
While tickets will be made available to the general public on January 16th, GDC community members can grab up to eight choice seats by ordering in advance. (Membership has its perks, we suppose.)
We don't know how Tommy Tallarico's revived venture will stack up against the internationally-minded PLAY! symphonic concert tour, but the new 6-minute trailer does offer some culturally-relevant statistics (though perhaps one-too-many clips of a spandexed guy from Tron).

Hey guys,
Becky Young here - Marketing Coordinator for Video Games Live. Please stop by the website and check out the trailer for the best overview of the show. Most of the trailer is footage from our actual events at the Hollywood Bowl, Seattle and Vancouver last year.
I hope to see you at the show!

So has anyone seen a performance that has something to say about it? After GDC is done I'd usually find a bar, but I'm not tied to those plans...

Hey, Rob. Here's a fairly positive review of the original event over at 1UP from last summer:
