Though
the original Disaster Report received mix
reviews, developer Irem will release a sequel that includes some new gameplay features. From the article: "Some of
the cool gameplay aspects that Irem has revealed are that you'll have to hold onto something if waves come along or else
you'll be washed away. You'll also have to shout to different people to tell them what they need to do in order to solve
some puzzles. If they can fix the problems that plagued the first game which were mostly technical like low framerate,
then Irem could definitely have a hit on its hands."Originally announced at last year's Tokyo Game Show, Disaster Report 2 will be released next month in Japan. No US date has been set.
