EA to take another stab at Rings RPG

Ex-Apogee (3D Realms) developer Jim Norwood was recently interviewed by his former mates about his new gig at EA and he may have inadvertently spilled the beans about a new Lord of the Rings RPG in the works. According to Norwood, the new game will be called The Lord of the Rings: The White Council, which would indicate a storyline involving Gandalf and Saruman in their friendlier days. This should be welcome news for those who didn't get enough of an RPG fix with The Third Age or LOTR: Tactics (PSP). There was no mention if White Council would be a current or next gen title.
