Nintendo DS redesign coming Jan. 16th?

Ive been wanting a DS for a few months now but decided against buying one because i knew it was inevitable that Nintendo would release an "SP" or slimmer version of it. IM GLAD I WAITED! does anyone suspect that the screens will be brighter on this newer version? i own a PSP and have seen comparison shots. the DS full brightness is equal to PSP on lowest brigtness settings...

Guess I'd better sell my DS and use the money to buy the redesign before the new one makes it worthless... fucking, Nintendo always so damn money hungry. Gotta re-do every thing a million times! GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME DAMN IT!!!

The following is a letter I will be emailing to nintendo, Once I know the redisign is for real...



Dear Nintendo,



I am writing this letter to say you are a bunch of money grubbing bastards!!!!!!!!! I have just recently purchased a Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS is just barely turning a year old, and it is already going to be redesigned!?!? Well that a bunch of bullshit!!! What's really pathetic is that this has happened many times before. When I bought a gameboy advance, It only took only a few months for you dickheads to come out with the gameboy advance sp. Then once GBA SP was out you couldn't help yourself. The money coming from that just wasn't enough, you needed more. Thus comes the Gameboy Micro and a brighter gameboy advance sp The gameboy advance has been re-released 4 times first with the sp, then the gameboy advance player, then the gameboy micro, and finally the brighter gameboy advance sp!! I am surprised you assholes kept gameboy color the same.



This same problem has occured in your games, Its just re-release after re-release after re-release. The gameboy advance isnt a "new system" It is just a handheld Super Nintendo with a few mediocre games thrown in so it looks new. Look at your cash cow super mario. How many times do we have to play the same crappy super mario brothers game over and over. The original mario brothers alone was re-released 5 times!!!!



My first point for writing this letter, is to say that you are a bunch of greedy and corrupt money grubbing dicks. My second point is to say that I have had it with your shit. I will never buy another video game system made by nintendo. I hope other people will realize what your are doing, and make your company bankrupt.

WPA support would require a firmware update, which a redesigned DS could possibly have.

Oh, and JK, if you send that, realize that it'll just end up in some employee's "trash" folder, followed by a cookie-cutter premade reply. Besides, what's worth getting so angry about? You still have the system you paid for. They aren't taking anything from you. You look like a spoiled brat complaining because others may have something prettier. Spoiled, whiny white kids? So this DS discussion is getting ratial huh? 150 bucks doesn't come easy to me. I have to WORK for my money. When nintendo redesigns the nintendo ds 3 months after you buy one it really kind of pisses you off. Maybe they should have done it right the first time. Redesigned technology could mean future Nintendo DS games will not work on my outdated DS. This would force me to buy a new one! Think about that one fruitcake.

I'll bet it's because the screen is too small or not durable enough or something equally trivial. My bro got me a preowned DS for christmas (cheap but mostly untouched). Now this BS has flew out the rumour mill, please be only a rumour i beg of yee.

I'm 100% sure Nintendo won't make any major changes that will render the original DS obsolete. Your GameBoy could play games post-GBPocket, right? What about a GBA... it could play GBA games post-GBA:SP. Where are you getting any idea about new games being incompatible?

actually i own a ds so not buying a new one and Du Ma having played a ds and a psp the brightness is around the same the psp is a lil brighter when turned up full but ds is basically as bright not much diff at all

i did have a gameboy color my friend found under some chair in a rental car, thats as far as i got lol



the only reason i was tempted to get an advance was for the remakes/re-releases of my favorite old SNES games im getting one someday, i have to play Tales of Phantasia again (and Fire Emblem)
