Sex in Video Games conference announced for June

As the video game industry goes through puberty, it needs a forum to discuss its maturing state. Cue the Sex in Video Games Conference, set to take place June 8-9 at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco, CA. The focus of the conference will be the rising presence of sex in video games, with lectures on "The Future of Sex and Technology" and "Sex in Games: Where are We Now" (the latter of which is being given by Brenda Brathwaite, founder of IGDA's Sex SIG).

The panels announced include:
  • Creating Mainstream Erotic Games
  • Integrating International Success to the US Market
  • Emergent Sex in Video Games and Video Game Hardware
  • Creating Successful Online Erotic Games
  • Investing in Sexually Themed Games
  • Alternative Distribution Methods for AO Games
  • MMOEG (Massively Multiplayer Online Erotic Games) Panel

Expect more information on this as this interesting event draws near.
