This game series has been my favorite since the first one. I absolutely am a NUT over these games. Needless to say I will be there on opening day to see this film.

I saw some of the filming in downtown Hamilton, Ontario last summer and it certainly has the look and feel of Silent Hill. I think they'll pull it off nicely.

should be fantastic, based on one of the best video game franchises.



Christophe Gans, the director, also did "Brotherhood of the Wolf" which was great.



It is written by rogary avery, who is responsible for rules of attraction and killing zoe. He also worked with Quentin tarentino (although he goes uncredited) on pulp fiction and resivoir dogs.

#4 is right. Also it has also been confirmed that "pyramid head" will be in the movie. If you watch very closely to the "teaser" (which it isn't), you can see a fast clip of him swing something at the camera.

Wow the trailer looks great, I hope they get it right this time with videogame movies, I Hope its based on silent hill one.

rocket, thanks for the link (silenthill-movie.net) i wasn't aware that existed yet. i'm really looking forward to this movie. i've been terrified by silent hill ever since the first one. i've played 2 and 3, but never made it very far in 4. i'll get back to it one day--maybe as a warm-up for the film release.



pyramidhead's in it? ahhhhhh!!!! he was, imo, the scariest monster in any of them!
