Valkyrie Profile Lenneth "Promotion Movie" up for grabs

This better come to the states quick; I'm getting really tired of waiting for RPGs on my psp. Why do the game companies think all I want are sports action games?

I saw the orginal valk profile for an emulator a friend had, hard to find game and finally the psp (hopefully will come to North America)gets a good squaresoft game. AWESOME STUFF, now just put some true FF and secret of mana games on the psp and your set square-enix.

I never really had the chance to play this on the PSX when it came out, and now the cheapest I could experience it is at around $80. I haven't heard anything about this game that was less than astonishing. That said, if this comes to the PSP, I will buy one, even if just for Valkyrie Profile.

Im actually thinking about maybe picking up a PSP for this game.





But I think im more stoked about Valkyrie Profile 2 coming to the PS2. That game looks amazing. And to think the PS2 is still pumping out amazing games for how old it is.

True 3D remake = bad.

Same game with added cutscenes = good.



(Not that I'll play it either way... I have it for PSX, and more remakes will not make me buy a PSP, even if they are remakes of the best games ever.)

I used to own the game on the PS. But it got really hard for me towards the end. I miss the game, and maybe this time I'll actually beat it.

"aww no true 3d remake?" if you people had half the merit this site's candor and appearence purports you have, you'd realize a true 3d remake would be absolutley retarded and would only fuck up what is already a good game. Frankly, Im surprised Square - Enix didnt decide to lscrew this one up by going with a full 3d remake.

What if Final Fantasy 4 was remade in 3d for the Playstation? It woud be pointless, same point in case with this one, unless of course a huge poll was taken and people would've wanted that, then we'd have either ourselves or the others to blame :].

Wow, that's quite a response to a simple question, don'tcha think, Jau_Peacecraft? As much as I like 2D gameplay and hand-drawn sprites, there's some appeal to the idea of "true" remakes, even for an old-school classic like Final Fantasy IV (hence, the link to the Final Fantasy III remake in 3D). As you pointed out, if there are people who want something, then they're the ones who'd have to deal with it. Wouldn't you like a PS3 remake of FFVII? =)

Why in the world would you want a 3d remake of VP? It's like making a 3d remake of Link to the Past- it's that 2d graphic set and gameplay mechanics that made it loveable



If they do a 3d VP leave it for the sequel or any other VP games that may or may not come in the future. Don't "Dukes of Hazzard" Valkyrie!
