Guess who's thumbing through the
official Metal Gear Solid script? According to 1up, it is none other than Uwe Boll himself. 1up has been in
contact with Mr. Boll via e-mail (remember the crazy interview from a few days back?)
and has learned that Konami has sent the famed German director a copy of the script. The (debatably) good news is that Konami is moving forward on plans to make a Metal Gear Solid movie. The bad news is that Kojima does not seem to be involved (he did not write the script and would likely not direct) and Uwe Boll may be the director. No other details are currently available. Though Mr. Boll is reading the film's script, he is set to be pretty busy with other upcoming game-to-film adaptations and probably will not have time in the next few years to commit to such a project.

Here's the best scene from Bloodrayne which was cut from the final film:

Go to IMDB.com and do a search for Uwe Boll, then go to the Message Boards section near the bottom and you'll see someone has already started.

Just send me Elisha Cuthbert. I'll do something, fairly similar to that Bloodrayne scene.
Still, just cuz the guy puts boobs in a movie doesn't mean he should be directing movies. I think he just needs to find a new job... Like those ex-crack addicts that go to schools saying how bad their life is. That. He needs to do that for films. "This is why my career failed. Notice this scene in house of the dead where you can see the launch board throwing the zombie."

I don't know who I hate more...
Jack Thompson
Hillary Clinton
Uwe Boll
Anyways, read my post on www.xanga.com/daveknockwin about Uwe Boll. It's quite interesting!

Well, silly old me got of course interested and the interview was really interesting - it showed a funny, fast-talking excited guy that really really seems to enjoy making movies (BTW: he actually make a lot of money with it - not at the box office but rentals etc.etc...)
Personally Uwe Boll reminded me about Ed Wood - willing but unable... yet extremely confident in his work.
While I don't like movies like "Alone in the Dark", which would get a 4/10 IMHO, I really have to say the guy seems to be nice - and maybe in 40 years everybody will remember Plan 9 From Outer Space and Alone in the Dark as masterpieces of pop-trash.

House of the Dead decent?
No. That movie was absolutely terrible.
It's quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.

Kurt Russel would be decent, maybe a little too old.
Elisha Cuthbert would not make a good anything. And if anyone says Jessica Alba Ill rape you.

The article mentions German tax laws, but they exist in other countries as well. As a matter of fact, Germany recently changed their law. (See Gamespot, Rumor Control: http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=23902576)
Essentially, he's explointing loopholes in tax laws. He's a con-artist, not a director.
He is hurting the gaming industry by ensuring that video game movies are always going to be looked upon as a bad investment. Which means some game francises may never get their chance to be in capable hands on the silver screen.

How is this possible? I know how greedy all the hollywood/gaming execs are and how they will make absolutely any piece of shit if there is any profit in it but this is a new low. This is like MTV remaking Pulp Fiction with tom cruise and will smith in the lead roles, or nick leshay covering layla. The greatest gaming franchise ever is made into a movie by one of the worst directors of all time who has made a living shitting out awful game-adaptations. If this actually happens it will be confirmation that uwe bowel is indeed the antichrist.

Jack Thompson vs. Ewe Boll
subtitle: No matter who loses...we win.
Reply
Jack Thompson is secretly funding Uwe Boll's cinematic assault on the gaming industry in a clandestine effort to bring the industry to it's knees and boost Jack's political career.
We know what you're up to Jack, don't think we don't know, we know, OK?
And what's with the " i gotta dollar to put in for that "taking care of...uwe" " don't you think some public minded citizen would consider doing the necessary for free?
