It's official: porn stars love the PSP
While everyone else was checking
out all the cool gear and games at CES, Chris Buffa from GameDAILY tried a different
approach: interview the girls at the adjacent Adult Entertainment Expo about
video games. Since most of them look younger than I do, it's no surprise they are familiar with video gaming. The most
interesting thing he uncovered was that every single starlet he asked the question of said the PSP was a regular
presence on the sets... in between takes. Weird!Sorry DS fans. We're not sure how scientific this poll can be considered, but it certainly appears that the PSP has the male porn talent demographic pretty much wrapped up. It's sorta surprising, Nintendo being the ones who said "Touching is Good."

It's not surprising, since the PSP is more than just gaming. Maybe it helps in the "Fluffing" Department, being that you can put porn on it when you need "inspiration".

Maybe Nintendo can make a game called Nintenticles with (obviously) tenticle hentai action, and use the touch screen for like thrusting motions or undressing and what not...

#7 What's with the use of "had a chance in the handheld market". It still has a chance, I mean come on! Its only been out for a year. If the success of a system depended on how it did in 9 months, the xbox would be dead right now. Have we forgotten that the DS had its slow months too, where the games were boring and the sales were slow. The first five months of the systems release werent exactly pretty. But now its doing incredibly well.
It's still to early to tell how things will turn out for the psp. Its pretty easy to see that the DS is a success, and it should be (they have had over 20 years of portable gaming experience). But being that this is sony's first entry into the field, they should be proud. Afterall, since when has nintendo had any viable opponent in the portable arena.

No mystery here.
The DS has touch screen. You wouldn't want to touch your nice DS with pornolized sticky hands and get it all crusty. (you know- lube, bodily fluids, etc.)
The PSP, however, has no decent games and is therefore never touched, thus avoiding the crustiness problem of being handled by sticky-handed porn stars in between takes.
Maybe Sony should make an ad featuring Ron Jeremy and Gauge: "PSP. It's like porn you can watch on the bus."

Of course the porn industry is big on the PSP...I mean, DUH. The PSP offers the ability to take porn movies ANYWHERE. Do the math, kids. Nintendo would never allow carts to be made, but Sony (while they might wrinkle their nose a little) is perfectly content to license UMD technology to the porn industry in both the US and Japan. The porn industry is all about home video...and the PSP is the perfect application of same.

It's kind of weird how nintendo wants to apparently target a wider audiance with consoles like the DS and REV, but they seem to be attracting mainly the real gamers. It's hard to explain, i meen EVERYONE would want a PSP ( "WOW LOOOOK AT THOS GRAPHIXXXX!!!!),even porn stars who obviosly have better things to do and who don't know anything about video games, but you acually need to like games to want a DS...

Uhhhhhhhhh......ok you guys missed the point. The PSP is only played by the GUY pornstars. Girls, and I mean adult film star girls, really don't have any clue nor do they care as to what the video game industry is all about right now. They only hear and see big name titles that appeal to a more masculine, broader market. So they only hear a lot of "PSP" and "PS2" thrown around with the older guys that they've BEEN with (pundit fully intended but not Nintended). Aww....sorry for that lame joke, but now you know the true story and not a stupid perspective of the way the editor scripted his article. Boy, he really needs to analyze his articles more than his porn stash. And DS fans don't get mad, cause I'm a Nintendo fan and DS beats PSP a million times over. Nice story GameDaily (and I liked the pictures too). Interesting that no one has mentioned the part of the story where Buffa asks the porn starletts about what kind of porn video game they would like to see made. Probably too hot a subject to bring up here. Now that I know that the PSP is the system of choice in that industry, it gives a whole new meaning to "handheld" gaming. I guess it also means that PSP really stands for Porn Star Player.
