Though a couple of years old, The Video Game
Revolution program by PBS is an excellent viewing for any gamer. The program examines the evolution and history of
the gaming industry, the impact of video games on society and culture, and the future of electronic gaming.From the official site: "Interviewed are industry participants including Atari founder Nolan Bushnell; Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the “Donkey Kong®” and “Legend of Zelda®” games; Will Wright, creator of “SimCity”; Seamus Blackley, developer of Microsoft’s Xbox® game console; Megan Gaiser, president of HER Interactive; Tim Moss, lead programmer for Sony Computer Entertainment America; and Jason Rubin, co-president of Naughty Dog, Inc.(“Crash Bandicoot”). Among others interviewed are Pamela Eakes, founder of Mothers Against Violence in America (MAVIA).
