I'm excited for this. I actually know that this has been in production for probably 4 years, since Dr. Davis, the CEO, presented a rough demo at our school a long time ago. So I'm guessing it'll be a spiritual successor to the pretty good Armada games. With any luck it will be better received.

Armada and Armada 2 were pretty good games, probably the best ever. Hopefully this will treat us to some next gen graphics too.

Damn people are quick to forget...Bridge Commander? Geezus...come on now...still to this day impressive ship models and a great user base/support base. Bcfiles.com has screen shots showing just how great the game is...hopefully they don't mess this up like Armada and just about every other Star Trek game.

"Trek[k]ie nerds" (x3) -- unless you're a Trekker nerd, of course. Potatoes, po-tah-toes, I say. =)

The initial graphic looks good, though I wonder if the game itself will really look like that. I have heard a lot about star trek armada etc, but I think the best star trek games are much older. Hasn't anyone played Star Trek A Final Unity, or The Next Generation for the SNES? Those were both well done games, with exception of course to the graphics engine. These days though, it would be great if they could combine the game play experience of those older games with the graphical content of today.
