Present a Golden Globe, receive a Game Boy Micro
Our friends over at TV Squad
have laid out all the gifts contained in the nearly-$50,000 goodie bag given to presenters at tonight's Golden
Globes award ceremony. Sure, there's a diamond ring, a trip for 2 to Antarctica, and a vacuum, but the real prize
is a Game Boy Micro with Dr. Mario / Puzzle League - yay!I guess there was no need to give away an Xbox 360, as it appears that any celebrity who wanted an Xbox 360 has already snagged one.

$250? I saw the micros for sale for about $90, and the game most likely isn't more than $35 too. Is it a special edition, diamond encrusted Game Boy micro?

I never did understand why celebrities receive free merchandise. Especially when the stuff they get is so expensive, that only they and a few others would be able to afford them.
Oh well, I guess they can sell their diamond-encrusted jeans and Blackberries for some nose candy.

Original PR site: Nintendo of America ($250) - "20th Anniversary Edition Game Boy Micro with 'Dr. Mario/Puzzle League' game" I guess that's what the PR people are pricing the 20th Anniversary Edition at these days. Go figure.
