They are MS's hometown team!

I'm just hoping my Falcons can pull things together next season :(

in the meantime...

That would be Shaun Alexander, as any fantasy footballer would know.

You do realize Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen owns the team.

who cares? no difference between this and any other local business supporting their team.. well, the whole MS being global thing, but that doesn't really make a difference in this situation

Well since it's roughly 7 hours since this was posted and it's already been stated 3 times, I'd like to reiterate that it's Shaun and not Sean.

Carry on.

Well seeing that Sean is the proper spelling, I see no problem in this.

Shawn Shaun..uhg..

Anyway, doesn't some of the Microsoft peeps own apart of the teams in Seattle(Except the Baseball team, which is partly own by Nintendo)?

Was anyone angered when Nintendo focused its N64 games on Ken Griffey Junior? Everyone knew Nintendo owned the Mariners, and it didn't stir anything up. Just because Microsoft is the big bad empire, does it mean they can't support a team they're heavily tied to?

BTW GO SEAHAWKS!

Wow, I certainly feel a great deal of embarrassment concerning my misspelling of the great Alexander's name. (Seriously, it's been a few years since he's been on my fantasy-football team.) I'll get it fixed ASAP.

"Wow. Sometimes this site is incredibly embarassing. Do they ever proofread anything? Ever?"

Actually, I proofread my posts quite a bit, but that error really slipped through my fingers. (Hey, I even linked to an article on him before setting the post to go public.) My bad, y'all; thanks for catching that for me.

Here we go Steelers, HERE WE GO! The Steelers are going to the super bowl!

(If you're from Da Burgh, sing to the appropriate tune)

Seriously though... Sean Alexander? Any self-respecting football fan would know it's spelled T-I-K-I, err, Shaun.
