Namco loves Katamari, and with good
reason - the quirky little 3-volume franchise has racked up 500,000 in total sales in Japan. So what is Namco's next
step, hm? Simple - to develop more games that "anyone can pick up and quickly have fun," according to a new
press release from the company.No platform is specifically mentioned, but we'd like to point out (as did 1up) that this mindset, "a game that surpasses international boundaries, age, and gender," sounds quite in line with Nintendo's philosophies on their software and hardware. Could we be seeing some quirky Nintendo DS or (dare we speculate? yes, we dare) Revolution titles being announced soon? Only if they're fit for the King of All Cosmos, of course.
