Hope it's some Nintendo theme park in the vein of Disney Land... Wishful thinking yes...

In case anyone ever wondered where Digipen Institute of Technology is located, its in the top Nintendo building and takes up the west half of the building. Directly north of that is the highest grossing 7-11 in America. I see kids in class with a turbo-big-gulp and 6 taquitos for lunch so guess I can understand how they are making their money.

Traffic isn't so bad... HA! That was most likely taken on a Sunday morning when everyone is either at church or sleeping. It's usually much worse around here. See that building right across the street from the proposed area? That's half Nintendo, and half DigiPen, the coolest video game college around. My game development mentor works there.

Zach, you're absolutely right. Traffic is hell right there during the week. After I get off school (at DigiPen) around 5 at night, it takes a good 45 minutes to drive the two miles to my apartment.

But hey, it's good to hear Nintendo's doing well enough to be thinking about expanding.

Yeah, I live in seattle, so I have to take the 520 over. I don't even attempt to leave work before 7. Traffic is that bad.

Here it is folks. mark it down. Nintendo wants to step it up sideways. Way to go guys. I hope its the N6, or DSP, (Both By the Way are trademarked as we speak, so....Nintendo, not to be a bother but I'll let you have them if you let me intern. ITT Class of 07!) Nyways, Now is the time Nintendo makes its first step into the Generation after next. It's a fantastic cycle.

Well that's good to hear. I've hated staring at that ugly open lot for the past few years.

adizzy615 - you should try the super-secret ninja route sometime: get off 520 at 108th, go back under the bridge, take a right at 24th, follow it all the way to 92nd, take a right, go down the hill, take a left at the roundabout, and follow the road (past a Tully's) all the way up to a 520 entrance. It usually knocks 20 minutes off my evening commute back to Seattle.

Yes Nintendo is doing something right. They have a mark up on both the games and the consoles they make.

Traffic isn't bad on that road, but it sucks on the 520. Everytime I head to Redmond I make sure I stay IN REDMOND, to avoid most of the traffic.

That said, I didn't realize that land parcel was available. I thought it belonged to some company, and was a park or something... Ah well, it's been a few months since I was there, and I'm too lazy to pull it up in virtual earth.

Just in case no one noticed, that's an overhead view of an actual Xbox due south of the land in question.
