Rumor: XLink Kai founders to announce commercial online service for the PSP
Xbox-Scene isn't the most
obvious source for PSP news, but the site is reporting that some of the XLink Kai founders—possibly former
employees—are preparing to announce a commercial online service for the PSP. Since it's still in the "rumor
stage," it's unclear if the service will utilize tunneling software or be completely unified (like Xbox Live). And
will Sony endorse it? Not likely. What about game developers? And why is this a commercial service? XLink Kai has always
been a free endeavor and it already features PSP support.Obviously, there are many unanswered questions. And with Xbox-Scene suggesting a Q2 (2006) launch for the service, let's hope that "announcement" is on its way.

how can you be a former founder? you either found it or you don't!
i.e. steve wozniak no longer works at apple, but he isn't the former co-founder of apple.

I sure as hell hope they implement a better system than XLink Kai has. I was NEVER able to connect with it, despite my best efforts. And, by the way, I agree with post #1 (Alex K.)

Hope it will be more user friendly than the one they make now. The layout is just nasty and makes you cry. The ammount of people on it is just as bad. Maybe more people will start useing a commercial service... then find out there are free ones.

I don't get it Kai already has a tunneling service for psp games, does commercial mean they are going to start charging. That sucks since most people don't use it now that it is free!

wth? So if you create a company then later leave it, you are not considered the "former founder/co-founder"?
Ok that is some dumb logic guys...think about it.
