Hadoken! Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked Ryu and Co.?

The latest and greatest Internet meme to permeate, however briefly, our culture is chucknorrisfacts.com, an assembly of ridiculous "facts" compiled from the SomethingAwful forums about our favorite roundhouse kicking karate man. Our personal favorite:

Chuck Norris originally appeared in the "Street Fighter II" video game, but was removed by Beta Testers because every button caused him to do a roundhouse kick. When asked bout this "glitch," Norris replied, "That's no glitch."

This I was not aware of. Perhaps he'll be put back into the XBLA version!

From what I've been able to gather it all started on the Something Awful forums. The site you mentioned put it into a random generator format and the one I linked to put it in a different format. The generator was first, but both are using the same content from the SA forums.

BoingBoing has a link to Chuck Norris being read some of these on the Tony Danza show.

The original theme song to the Transformers was actually "Chuck

starred Chuck Norris as a Texas Ranger who defended the earth from
drug-dealing Decepticons and could turn into a pick-up. This was far
too much awesome for a single show, however, so it was divided.

this has some of the facts which were attributed to Chuck-Walk/Kill, Kill with the room, under the catagory of Vin Diesel. I think 4q started them ,and people posted them on the SomethingAwful forums, either copying from the Norris part, or taking Vin's or Mr. T's and changing the names.
