Leaked Oblivion screens whet the appetite

I was going to say "prettttyyy" but then I actually opened the pics and saw they were small gifs. It still shows a little of what to expect, which I think will be rather pretty.

Un-frickin' believable! This one looks even hotter than we've all been led to believe. I had no idea the environment was so expansive. The screenie of the castle across the lake is SICK! If that's in game...wow.

Wow. These are pretty interesting. They don't show the quality of the graphics due to the poor image quality, but they do show a smooth interface and diverse content.

This is going to be the best reason to own a 360 until Halo 3 comes out.

I can't wait for this game.

While I'm excited about the game, I have to point out the obvious -- these are probably pics from the PC version. I say that because the format of the pics is 4:3, not 16x9.

That's not hard proof that they aren't 360 pics, but I'm just saying that they may be images from the PC. I also find it curious that there is't (that I saw) any 360-specific control shown. There's a cursor, but no A,B,X,Y,LT,RT,LB,RB shown anywhere. Again, that's not hard evidence. I just find it curious.

Even if the pics are from the PC, the 360 version will look outstanding. I just wanted to point out that maybe we should temper our excitement just a little.

This is the reason I bought a 360 but I'll withhold any real excitment until the game is released and reviewed.

This particular series (Elder Scrolls) has been notorious for being buggy and there still seems to be significant problems with frame rates and other issues based on previews I've read in the last week or so.

I would tend to agree, but the developers have had an extra 4 months to iron out bugs. I expect there to be less than morrowind - which although some found it buggy, I never really had a problem with it.

These screens could be PC, but that doesnt really matter in terms of graphics, they will look so similar that these screenshots wouldn't be able to pick it up due to their poor quality.
The exciting thing here is the interface and the immersion that the pictures convey - we already know it will look amazing!

Yeah, nothing whets my appetite more than screenshots of an HD game via 512x384 gifs.

This is so obviously, obviously the work of a viral campaign. Some publicity firm has clearly been paid to make it look like something 'leaked.' Wake up and smell the dawn of the new advertising strategies, everybody.

This is an early stage mock-up. The hands are not yet finished and the emperor does NOT look like that in the more recent movies that have been released. He's...just ...wrong.
Be good to get some leaks from more recent builds of the game. For now, these are good proof of concept pics.
Again, don't judge the look of the game on these.
